Hmm first off I feel like my blog has gotten boring and I'm not sure what to do about that!
Last Friday my friend
Sugamamma and I put on a small fundraiser of baked goods at the local coffee shop for my brother in law. We had a blast and made 185 to send off to the Transplant fund.
Saturday I made a big dinner for my friends, it was Alice's birthday and also they moved away yesterday, so it was a combo of saying Happy Birthday and goodbye. I'm going to miss her so much. We are very close and now she lives so far away :(
Sunday I took a slow day to just sit and collect my thoughts. Even got in a little nap. That felt good!
Yesterday I went out to the airport to say my goodbyes. I get really attached to my friends and that was a really hard goodbye! Then I ran off to the school to do homework, got my essay all finished up. Read some of my book and then took a make-up test in sign language. Running full speed ahead I went to the bank and then the grocery store for a few items. Oh then picked up my son from school.
Today I have classes, then I run from the school to pick up my son from school and take him to the dentist. Hubby has the day off so I have elected him to get the turkey in the oven because tonight we are having a big turkey dinner. Ya know practice for Thanksgiving coming up...
LOLI have a couple major projects due in the month of November for my classes and I really need to get going on those. Plus to top that off I have a booth at the craft bazaar the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving that I'm trying to organize as a fundraiser for my Brother in laws kidney transplant. Baked goods and gifts, I have people baking and making for that, and man talk about work!
This term of school will be over December 10
th and then 3 days later my son and I will be off to Portland for 2 weeks, visiting family and friends.
I'm feeling the crunch of it all and feel like I have lost my humor along the way somewhere. If someone finds my humor could you please return to back to me quickly!
The weather here has turned cold we are in the single digits at night and the mid 20's in the daytime. I know snow must be just around the corner. That's okay snow is always welcome in my book, it has to be that's one of the reasons I live in Alaska!
