Friday Soot-out~~~ Colors of the Rainbow

Okay this week has been a bit of a challenge for me since it has been mostly raining. To bad this rain has not brought true rainbows to shoot. Today my son and I went around and got these shots before heading to a movie.

The park is always a bunch of fun and the Colors of the equipment reminds me of the rainbow.

A house in the center of town painted a purple most do not enjoy but the owners.......LOL

This place is what people in town call the witch store. I know nothing about it or what's in there other than the bright colors it is painted on the outside.

To see more great shoot outs go here to see the list and take some time and enjoy others shoot outs!

If you're going to shoot on a rainy day, at least have fun. It looks like you did! Reminds me of the Prince video, Purple Rain.

I would find it impossible to not go into the witches store - maybe I have a high troublemaking curiosity. Rainbows are arcs of color created by rain drops and sunlight but also represent feelings of happiness and love and seeing you playing with your son is the best rainbow in all your photos.

I think I remember you posting a few other brightly painted buildings there in Alaska.

Kudos to your son for giving you a hand. lol

I would have had to go in and explore that building just to see why people called it the witch store. lol

Great pics!

It takes a brave soul to put purple paint on a house, don't you think? Maybe we should all be a little more confident. I have a hard time using bold colors. I love them when I see them around...but always am afraid that I won't like it.
