My friend Patty opened up her home to Chad and I to stay while we were in Portland. She has beautiful home and a extra bedroom for us to make our home. We have been good friends for 13 years now and she is very dear to me. She has helped me thought some tough times emotionally and spiritually. It has been 8 years since we have seen each other until our trip, and it was amazing to see her again and spend time together.
We really had some late night talks and bonded once again. To tell you the truth it has been a little hard on me since I have been home, not to have her close by, to share close talks over a cup of coffee or dinner together. The phone is just not the same!
Patty just loves my Chad-man and he loves her too. They bonded again also. When he was younger we use to get together all the time. I would pick him up from daycare and he would ask what's Patty having for dinner? I wanna go there. So when he asked her what's for dinner when we were there I could see that smile on her face remembering old times.Thank you Miss Patty for opening your home to us and Loving me unconditionally for years. I miss you like crazy!

That is so awesome!!!! When my sister visits here, and spends time with her friends, it's always sad for them to say goodbye.

What a sweet lady, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet her. Hope we weren't too loud and she got plenty of sleep.
