I'm participating in a year long challenge, created by Carin. The goal is to be in one picture a week, for 52 weeks. Since us moms are always behind the camera, this gives us a chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family. Fun challenge, right? You can join too! Just jump in right now and let me know you're playing along! Carin has added a Mr. Linky on Thursdays...so that we can check out each others pictures.
All the fireweed in my yard it's really beautiful this year! I love the natural forest look of my yard.

You are doing amazingly well in this challenge. I think that all the photographers from the Friday Shoot-out should go to Alaska and follow you around clicking endlessly!

Beautiful lady in a beautiful setting! We have huge sunflowers growing along the fence in our backyard. I just can't bear to get rid of them! :)

Those are beautiful - are they really a weed? If so, I need those kinds of weeds in my yard and not the annoying kind.

Robyn, beautiful picture! I don't know that we have fireweed here but it sure reminds me of beargrass in some ways. Really beautiful picture!

Can you hear my conversation with my husband now? "Honey, I want to replace my grass with fireweed." It probably wouldn't grow here. Beautiful picture of you and your "weeds".
