32 of 52

I'm participating in a year long challenge, created by Carin. The goal is to be in one picture a week, for 52 weeks. Since us moms are always behind the camera, this gives us a chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family. Fun challenge, right? You can join too! Just jump in right now and let me know you're playing along! Carin has added a Mr. Linky on Thursdays...so that we can check out each others pictures.
This is my friend Alice and I, she is one of my best friends. We met 6 years ago and she has been a great faithful friend to me. I just recently found out that she is moving away and my heart is broken. I know we will stay in contact, but it won't be the same as having lunch together or running our errands together.

Sorry your friends moving away. It's hard to find good friends.

Nice picture, and I'm sorry to hear about your friend moving away. I was transplanted via the U.S. military a few times and understand your heartbrokeness. Thankfully we have phones, e-mails and blogs to stay in touch with our friends, it's not the same, but we are so very blessed to encounter people that we can truly be ourselves with. I hope that you and your friend can maintain the friendship even far away. :-) God bless!

It stinks having to say goodbye to your friends! Thank goodness for all the ways we have to keep in touch these days!

Oh no Robyn...I have been there. It is painful when a friend moves away. Beautiful picture full of memories! Make it a priority to stay in touch...it is so important.

Such a lovely picture of two beautiful ladies. I'm so sorry to hear she is moving. No doubt your friendship will continue through the years in spite of distance.

And I can't imagine what it will be like when my son can pick me up! How these kids grow!

My good friend moved away last summer. I miss her and it's not the same as having her right next door but that's the beauty of the internet/email. Hopefully you'll be able to visit often. Cute pic of you two!

Beautiful picture! So sorry to hear that she is moving...never easy, especially for the one that gets left behind...the absence is felt so keenly. But with a true friend they will always remain just that...a true friend ((hugs)).

When I got married, I moved to the other side of the state..away from my best friend and friends. I don't see them often, but I learned who my TRUE friends were, because they are the ones that take the extra effort to stay in touch!
