Random is Where I'm Going

I really enjoyed looking at pictures for the Friday flashback. It really made me think of how young I once was. Today I have been looking through photo's to see which one might be my next target. I have a few so now I have to look at them all week and decide.

I have been working on my homework and still have a couple papers to write before class on Tuesday. Monday night my daughter will come over and we will do some work together. Since she will be here I will make dinner for all of us. She is very excited to have a Mommy home cooked meal. I think while she is here I will have hubby take a couple pictures of us for my Thursday Mom's in pictures post.

The leaves on the trees keep getting more fall colors in them, and it is just breath taking to drive along with all the colors. Our daylight is shrinking and we are down to 11 hours now. It keeps going down and the lowest point is a little over 5 hours. Unlike summer at the height of daylight it is just a little over 19 hours. I feel the air is different, and it won't be to much longer before we see our first snow.

My son(15) has a cute Lil girlfriend and she came over Friday night after school for dinner and movies. She is such a good girl, with great manners. I have met her parents and really like them, so I let him go to her house on Saturday. The 26th is Homecoming at school and they are going together. Waaaaa Not so sure this Mommy is ready for all this. Not that I haven't been through it 4 times before, I guess it's just the fact that he is my baby.

Okay enough blah blah blah!
Have a beautiful week!

I love the colors of fall. College is nothing but writing papers, and I hate it! I'm working on a few papers myself right now.

how fun to do homework with your daughter and be her classmate. I love the fall colors too and cannot wait for the trees to turn. How cute about the girl friend. It is nice when the mom approves:)

this sense of needing to let them go never goes away - it happens again with grandchildren. My 13 year old granddaughter went to a birthday party with dancing, all dressed up, I cried my eyes out....
how do you stand 5 hours of daylight - and probably not bright daylight but overcast and gray - ?

we have about 12 hours no matter which season - okay another good thing about Brasil - Ginger V (sorry forgot to sign out of Blogger)

I love the colors of fall. I am feeling you on the kids having boyfriends and girlfriends. Unlike you, I have not been through it before. It is all new to me. And, homecoming is coming up here in a few weeks too.
