Not Much Tuesday

Wow am I ever looking forward to nice days when all the snow melts and I can be outside more. When school is over for the summer(May 4th), so I can get more pictures of what I'm doing and have some exciting goodies to blog about. To get my fishing pole out and stand on the banks of the Kenai river and fish for the salmon. The Mid-night sun shining, and the BBQ cooking.

I have been thinking about what I want in my giveaway and have some cool idea's now just to go shop for them and get ready. It is only 8 posts away. I visited random.org and know how to use that now( smiles), I sure hope I do this right as I have never done this before. I'm pretty excited I only started blogging in Jan, 2009,

Not Me Monday

It is not me who worked on homework all week last week, only to take Friday off and have what a call a mule day!

It was not me who cooked a full on Turkey breast dinner with stuffing, mashed taters and homemade dinner rolls Friday.

It certainly was not me who left all the House work for hubby all week, Yes he did it all!

It was not me who stayed in my PJ's all day Saturday and didn't leave the house!

It totally was not me who went to church yesterday, and then met 3 of my classmates to work on a take home math test for 7 long hours!

It is not me who is gonna have a 100th blog post giveaway, if I can figure out how to do it, and come up with a neat gift.

Wow Amazing Pictures of Eruption.

All of these picture were taken by Brent Higman. They are of Mt.Redoubt erupting last night or early morning.

The explosions were at 11:20 pm March 27th and 1:20 am march 28th.

Sure wish I was awake to see this!

More Eruptions

Mt Redoubt erupted last night at 11:47 pm and then this morning at 8:40 am.

Then again tonight.This is what the volcano site says for tonight eruptions.

At 19:25 AKDT March 27, 2009 (3:25 UTC March 28) an explosive eruption occurred at Redoubt volcano. National Weather Service reports an ash cloud height of about 51,000 feet above sea level.This follows closely behind the eruption that occurred at approximately 17:35 AKDT (01:35 UTC) that sent ash to an estimated height of 40,000 feet above sea level.

Not Me Monday

I did not enjoy all of my spring break, yep it was so boring, and I missed my school work.....LOL Not!

I did not clean my house from top to bottom and get way to many trash cans of going out, out of here.

I did not totally enjoy some much needed friend time, as I always have my face in a book!

I totally do not dread going back to school and the books today!

I did not slip and it my funny bone, and laugh so hard it made me cry! I don't know why they call it a funny bone anyway, it's really not that funny!

Will She Blow

Seismicity rates have increased dramatically over the last 48 hours. Currently, the earthquake rate is up to 26 events per 10-minute period. Many of these events are large enough to be recorded at the more distal stations of the Redoubt network, including NCT and DFR.

Our Mt. Redoubt is being a turd, and keeps wanting to blow! This picture and update are from the volcano web site! I wonder if it will go up and ash us!

Sunday Sunset

This was taken off my front porch, and I can take credit for! Soon Sunday Sunsets won't work for me as the days are getting longer here, and the sun will not totally set for a few months, all we will have is dusk and sunshine! Yippee!!!! Land of the Midnight sun!

Grandma Duty

First off I would like to say, I can never hold up a camera and take self photo's, without my eyes going crazy like this!

This is my Granddaughter Scooter2, she came to my house today to entertain me. She is very good at pulling me along on a leash, getting everything she wants! Within 2 hours of her being here she ate 2 lite meals, we had a tea party, she played in the bath tub with her tea party dishes, and we read 3 books! By then I was worn out! Then she went outside with Grandpa and shoveled off the old snow on the porch! She even gave my car a snow bath! She was taking snow off the ground rubbing it all over my car getting it clean for me. Then back in the house she came, tired as can be, but refused to lay down even for a minute. As tired sets in she wanted to go home, I told her, her Mommy was still at work and so then it was "I wanna go to daycare". Again I told her no and she got mad telling me that she missed show and tell at day care because I picked her up to early! So I got her to do a show and tell for me, then the silly's set in. Needlessly to say by the time her mom came to get her I was worn out! I don't know who will sleep better tonight her or me!

This is Sugamama and I on the beach, we had such a great time hanging together and talking, laughing. Nothing is better to me than being with a great friend enjoying life and letting our daily cares melt away. Little does she know, that she is my favorite friend in the world!

This picture did not turn out the best, but it is Sugamama's homemade almond joy candies, brownies, and my cookies. Which by the way I ate enough for everyone that wanted me to try one for them......LOL

Look at this beautiful pie! Sugadaddy made this for us all to enjoy and man let me tell you, Sugadaddy can sure make a apple pie like no other!

Ok we did not go to the beach but once, but I am naming my posts Beach trip 1 2 3 and so on as I post new pictures, I can't post them all, all at once.......to many for one post.

This is the fishermans memorial on The spit in Homer. I really don't know the history behind it but I know many men died.

This is just one of the lists of men at this memorial.

The bell beside the memorial, or goofy kids kept putting their heads inside this bell, and at one point my Hubby yelled "GET YER HEAD OUT OF THAT BELL" words I never thought I would hear in a common day...haha

Photo Blog ????'s

Ok I have pictures I want to add to my blog, if I send them to photo bucket first, I have to down size them to get them to fit on my blog and they just don't seem big enough to enjoy.
Then if I just add them from my computer they are the right size for me, but then they all are at the top of my blog and I cannot write in between them.
Any suggestions on how to make them the way I want, all nice to enjoy with captions in between?

Not Me Monday

It was not me who counted the days, hours and minutes until spring break, being excited for no homework and great sleep in's.

It was not me who went on a shop-a -thon on the internet and ordered me new slippers and these gadgets call EZCombs for my hair. I know better than to use my computer in that manner!

It was not me who finished my last English assignment on Friday, and went straight to the kitchen and started cooking for my beach trip.

Oh No it was not me who went to Homer, the beach with my friends on Saturday and had a fantastic time and Thanked God for my time with friends and an awesome day, with no homework to get back home to.

It was not me who went to church yesterday and then out to lunch with my daughter and grand daughter, taking my time and spending an extra hour, since I didn't have to hurry home to books!

Really for reals, it is not me who doesn't have my pictures from Saturday on my computer yet, ready to share with my bloggin friends. I will really get to that.

I'm Just Dancin Happy

Today is my last day of school until the 23rd. I am officially on spring break! All my homework is done and turned in. So I'm doin a happy dance for that!
Tomorrow we are leaving in the morning for Homer, we are going to spend the day with my dear sweet friend Sugamama and her family on the beach with a huge Bonn fire. It is her son's16th birthday party. I am honored that we get to spend time together, and hoop it up on the cold Alaskan beach. I have made cookies, dips, and sandwich stuff to take along with us. Got chips, crackers and yummy soda's to pack along also. I have my camera in packed and I'm ready to take tons of pictures of our day.
This makes me happy to get away, spend time with awesome friends, and let it all out without worrying about getting home to my homework!
